My New Flat

View from my flat windowI’m slowly putting my new Shanghai life together. A key part of that life is a flat and I have after a few days searching found a pretty good one. It’s not exactly what I wanted, but I’ve got quite a short lease so I can change if something more exciting comes along. Sadly due to timing I wasn’t able to take my favorite flat which included a balcony, pool and tennis court. I’ve exchanged those little luxuries for a slightly better location right in the centre of town and a bit more impressive view (see picture).

Rent here isn’t the most expensive! Considering I’m living in the centre of China’s second biggest city I’m paying only 2300 RMB or (£150.85) per month for a 7th floor room in an apartment. On which note I think there is some money to be made in this area. Look out for a post on my commercial activity soon.
